Before you buy
The DDL store is a download sales site for 3D shape data of lasts and heels.
It is not a sale of the main body of the shoe mold.
We kindly ask for your understanding and understanding before purchasing.
■ Last download package
-The download package contains 4 last 3D mesh data (STL format) and a design specification table (csv format) .
The model for design includes both left and right foot data, as both left and right feet may be used depending on the region or company.
-The model data is for women and corresponds to a size of 23 cm.
Please contact the shoe last maker for size change/adjustment.
-Last 3D models take a lot of time to produce, and high technology is required to achieve accurate shapes.
-For the last model data provided by the DDL store, the design numerical values are clearly shown in the specification table, and the accurate shape is maintained in the numerical values.
-STL format polygon mesh data can be read and modeled by most 3D printers. It can also be read and processed by New Last's shoe last cutting machine.
-The shape provided can be used for design and shoe making as it is, but it can be used as an archetype to modify the wooden model made by NC machine tool to make it the desired shape.
-For women's shoe lasts, an iron plate is usually attached to the bottom of the back part.
Therefore, the part where the iron plate is pasted has the thickness of 0.8 mm removed.
■ Heel model download package
-Heel is provided with the shape data of the numerical values in the attached specification table in STL format.
-The edge around Cup (upper surface of the heel: Cup) has an acute angle, and it is easy for defects to occur when modeling with a 3D printer, so a chamfer of 0.1 mm is used.
-The bottom shape of the toplift side is closely related to the style of the heel, but the dimensions of the toplift side are drawn in mm on a minimal original mold, preventing an unlimited number of molds of the toplift.
-The shape and tilt angle of the heel Cup are designed with standard values.
-The tilt angle may not match the set angle due to the influence of the parts and the manufacturing process.
To correct the tilt angle of the model, you have to recreate it from the beginning, and the model is not easy.
-In order to reduce the risk that the downloaded data will be a wasteful investment, we will provide a set of 5 types of models with different tilt angles from -1 degree to +1 degree in 0.5 degree increments centered on the reference angle.
■ Grading package for heel production
-Generally, heels for mass production are graded by shoe size in 1cm increments, and the intermediate sizes are used for both sizes.Since top-lift heels are used for all sizes, they are matched to shoe mold grading in a way different from simple scaling.
-The set includes 5 sizes from SS to LL, and 5 sizes of flat models with the cup depression filled in for mold grading, for a total of 10 models.
